MD or DO, Multisite
Primary care physician covering both the LA tribal clinic and the Northern California tribal clinic. Shared between sites on a rotation to be determined with the selected candidate.
Apply →IHA hires clinicians and operators across two structures: tribally-owned and tribally-partnered clinics in Los Angeles, Northern California, and Louisiana, and a non-tribal IHA-owned clinic in Los Angeles that operates as an independent IHA entity. Both structures are designed for clinicians who want to practice in service of Native communities.
Most IHA clinics are tribally-owned or tribally-partnered. Non-physician staff at the Northern California clinic are direct tribal employees. Our non-tribal Los Angeles clinic operates independently as an IHA entity and may convert to tribal in the future. Either way, you are part of a clinical team that prioritizes Native communities.
The Los Angeles tribal clinic and Northern California tribal clinic operate as one integrated dual-site model. Specialty referrals, telehealth, and shared services move between them. The non-tribal LA clinic shares operational backbone with the tribal sites without commingling governance.
These clinics are opening now. The LA tribal clinic and the non-tribal LA clinic both open May 2026. The Northern California tribal clinic opens June 2026. You will be part of the first cohort, shaping clinical protocols, cultural integration, and operational rhythms before they are locked in.
Roles are grouped by governance structure. Tribal sites are tribally-owned or tribally-partnered. The non-tribal Los Angeles clinic is owned and operated by IHA as an independent entity and may convert to a tribal model in the future.
